Will not fit Y-block heads. The spark plug hole adapter will not screw into the hole. The adapter is not large and after two turns it hits the metal of the head itself.

The sensor is deactivated. I'm assuming the sensor is off by 50lbs. The hoses and adapters seem to be well made, the storage box is not bad, but the pressure gauge does not work. I keep the device, just buy a better quality sensor and replace it myself. Update on my review, the manufacturer contacted me and refunded the cost of the new sensor which was fair. Customer service was A+ and I am happy with the purchase.

The gauges and fittings appear to be well made and the case is above average. I cannot confirm the accuracy of the sensor as there is no evidence that it has been tested for accuracy. However, the 14mm adapter did not work on my 4.2 liter Ford v6 engine. I had to fabricate an adapter with a long overhang as the threads are countersunk out of reach of the included adapter. I feel this information. should have been included in the product description.

I have seen many reviews questioning the accuracy of the gauge and comparing its accuracy to a 'known accurate gauge' as the other gauge is a brand name. I calibrate for a living, if your expensive meter comes without a calibration certificate, or if it has been dropped or the certificate is out of date, you cannot say it is a known good meter.
