This thin blank volume has fairly strong sides and is easy to transport. A blank top for sketching and a lined bottom half for writing is what I need in a sketchbook to jot down my ideas. I wouldn't use it for water or ink that bleeds, but I glued the pieces of the collage to the blank space at the top and wrote the information in the lines below.

Exceeded my expectations Bought as a gift for friends traveling to Hawaii together and didn't notice the pages are half plain and half lined , but it's perfect for a travel journal, and I've included glue sticks, crayons, and pens for everyone to use as they please to mark our trip.

OK. Today I only received 12 out of 20, in the package there is no indication of the return. Images shown are NOT cover designs. I bought 20 for a class in the magazines I teach to veterans and the pictures show some covers, interesting design for the magazines, I was expecting 20 different covers (or a mix at best). The "Journal of Young Artists' Ideas" written on it is NOT what I intend to make available to veterans visiting my art group. Why isn't this photo showing the correct cover design?
