It's strong enough to withstand a package so full you can't find anything. I actually use it to hold a couple of large concrete anchors, and while it's heavy enough to be unwieldy, it shows no signs of loosening or failing. As a small toolbox, I think this is a good choice.

Me: DIY housewife. Just the right size to transport tools from job site to small project sites. Reliable shutter, comfortable grip, good finish. Includes 4 bottom rubber pads, one for each corner. Just the right size for most small projects that don't require all the tools. Note: Does not include the foam tray shown.

Great classic-style tool chest: red like a fire engine, solid metal closure, traditionally shaped lid. Much better than today's standard functional but aesthetically silly plastic models. I used a few pieces of durable styrofoam to create custom storage for a cordless "rotary tool" - i.e. a Dremel Knockoff - and it works like a charm. Please note that this tool set is unlikely to stand up to rigorous everyday use, at least not for long. But it's perfect for lighter use or maybe even a craft…

My only complaint so far is that the box it came in had a large picture of what was in the box. Otherwise it seems really good for the money. The rivets on the handle and locking mechanism appear to be of good quality and strong, none of the parts play or slide. The plastic handle is larger in diameter than expected, the piano strap feels good, the clasp looks cheap but doesn't wobble at all and feels quite good. This is a little old school tool box.
