🚗 Bilstein 24-069274 4600 Series Shock Absorber: Superior Performance and Durability for Enhanced Ride Quality Review

Replaced the existing Bilstein shock absorbers on my truck that has been there for over 10 years. And that's why I got another set, I hope it lasts another 10 years.

I love Bilsteins but Rewain was wrong. They will not fit a 2004 Ram 1500 with torsion bars. I don't have pole pins. The boxes were torn and taped together as if used.

Very good shocks but I wish they were softer. After trying many brands they look about the same as my old Monroes. I do not regret the purchase as I am sure they will provide me with many years of comfortable driving.

This is a great shock absorber replacement when your pants are worn out. They're pretty expensive for what they are, but at least you know they'll last a little longer than the cheaper stuff. They are easy to install and make the truck feel a lot better to drive.

After installation, my 2005 Ram 1500 Quad Cab still feels like a truck, which is to be expected. However, the hard impact of hitting a pothole and the feeling of the truck hitting the ground and going off course as it travels down the road is gone. Installs fine but the instructions are terrible. When disassembling, pay attention to how the old hardware is installed so you know how to install the new one and everything is ok.

Well, in most of the reviews I've seen, people complain about the lack of instructions, but never leave a solution. Here. One rubber bush fits into the other. One of the holes on the outer bushing is larger than the other side, find this out before tightening the nut, which SHOULD NOT be removed after installation. Also, do not overtighten this nut, it should only be lightly tightened. Once your wheels touch the ground again, the bushings will tighten (compress) even more. Also, use jack stands
