The best shock absorber I have ever bought.

I did extensive research on shocks for my 2014 High Country. I chose the Bilstein 4600 series. I am very happy with this shock absorber and how it has improved my truck driving. Great product with great results.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Good but not great

Great shelves! Shocks, Struts & Suspension

Excellent replacement for OE Ranchos. Quiet ride that gives you a better feel on the road than before. I have years of experience with cars so it only took about 45 minutes to install, a good spring compression kit and a few youtube videos and anyone can install them themselves.

Pros
  • One Year Trial
Cons
  • Faulty

They are better than the stock black shocks that came with

I installed them on my 2014 Silverado Double Cab 2wd. They are better than the stock black shocks that came with them. They absorb some of the shock that would make my other shocks grind their teeth. I am happy with my purchase. I wish there were aftermarket progressive front springs for these shocks.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • I don't remember

Great addition to a regular 2018 GMC Sierra cab

I installed Bilstein 4600 shocks/struts on my 2018 GMC Sierra RCSB after 900 miles. They are far superior to the factory dampers and struts. Even if they drive a little rougher than the stock ones, you will have more control over the car. The rear of my truck bounced a lot and felt almost dangerous with factory shocks/struts.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • A few minor things

Some old stock may still be made in the US. New Made in Mexico.

I recently ordered 2 front Bilsteins for my 2017 Silverado. The shocks were shipped in flimsy shelf crates for storage. Numerous holes and the inability of the boxes to keep their shape during transport. I had to send them back immediately. Instead, I opened up and hoped the shocks would be okay. First impression was that they were acceptable. When I took a closer look, I found that even though they had the same part number, they were different. Various exterior details. Then I noticed that one

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Big and bulky
