Big shock! for parts

This is a great product. If you are installing with a 6" lift I would suggest you use the top settings as mine have leveled off after a few days and I need to increase them. They look great and the truck drives fantastic!

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Hard to say

Older OEM shocks should have a removable lower spring seat.

Wrong installation of these shock absorbers. My shocks have been replaced once and the lower spring seat is welded on so I can't transfer it to the new shocks. I can't buy a lower spring seat.

Pros
  • Beautiful thing
Cons
  • Has been damaged

The front installed fairly smoothly, I replaced my top ball joint.

Delivery was quick, fit and ride is top notch. The front mounted fairly smoothly, I changed the top ball joint and changed the brake pads while I was there. Overall a good ride and lift for a 2 inch truck on the flat. Dodge Ram 1500 4X4 2008

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Truck runs much better than new

My 2006 Dodge Ram 4x4 had new front height adjustable stays installed (raised the front 1-2 inches without shims) and 90,000 rear Holsteins. The car drives much better than new! Firm control and no front-wheel bounce when cornering a bumpy corner (the old shocks literally made the front of the truck jump a foot or more to the side when hitting a rough pavement in a corner at speed). Also very off-road (soft trail running). Best investment in a Dodge since I bought it.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Some small problems.

OK I was very happy to get these shocks and straighten my 2007 Dodge 1500 but as soon as I installed them the problems started. They compress the springs so much that the ride becomes so stiff I can feel every bump in the road. Second, as soon as I installed them, my driveshafts started leaking and making a grinding noise. I need to replace my driveshafts with one that can handle the increased angle at which the shocks push everything up. But the good news is that I don't have any vibration in…

2007 Dodge Ram 1500 - Added Bodylift to Shocks

09/10/19 Installing the shock itself is not too difficult. Made 3 trips to the auto parts store for the tool rental and a total of 14 hours after all was said and done. Be sure to ask a friend for help. It is incredibly difficult to remove the bottom bolts on a standard shock as they not only stick, they almost stick to the rubber bushing. Spray everything down with a PB blaster or similar the night before. Be careful when compressing the coil to install on the new Blistein 5100 shock. It…
