1998 K1500 with 4.5" rise kit, with 33-12.5R18 shocks replaced with Pro Comp shocks and these Bilstein shocks make truck driving smoother and not harsh at all. , the most professional competition I've ever ridden. Also, I only paid $34 each because there were a few scratches I couldn't even see.
1990 Chevy K2500 with 6" off-road jacks. The rough terrain dampers that came with the lift were terrible. Too stiff for anything "SUV" oriented. These shocks have mine Brought life back to the truck and made it drivable again. They have a very attractive brushed metal finish which you can't see in the official photos. And the build quality is much higher than RCs that don't even have boots! Note that these shock absorbers be mounted with the loading side down.
Bought these to replace the old front shocks on my '99 Tahoe with a Fabtech 6" lifter. The only one Problem I have is metal. The insert on top was too wide to fit in the brace but trimmed a bit with a dremel and it worked. One weird thing about these shock absorbers is that the shoe actually comes off the bottom, not from the top.I've never seen these but they are supposed to be installed that way.Always mount the Bilstein logo the right way up.Did it a few hundred miles and no problems.Greatβ¦
