Bilstein 33-186559 5125 Series Shock Absorber: Ideal for Lifted Pickups, SUVs, and Jeeps Review

I purchased these non-coilover reservoir shocks for my automotive and they have completely transformed the ride! The added reservoir allows for consistent damping, resulting in a smoother and more controlled driving experience. The installation process was simple, making this a great upgrade for novice and experienced mechanics alike. The only downside is the slightly higher price point, but in my opinion, the benefits of the upgrade outweigh the cost.

Very good damper, well made and everything. However, the listing doesn't mention that this is best suited for a light truck or SUV. They're too soft for my raised ext pioneer.

These shock absorbers fit perfectly once I installed the correct studs and bushings for my particular application. However, after they were installed for a little over a month, oil from the shock body began to flow down the shaft. It's a gas/oil shock absorber, so now it's leaking oil and probably the nitrogen gas it contains.
