This design has one of the bearings behind the bracket. When tightening, the bearing is useless. The tube still moves slightly, but half the potential has been lost. Look for another model.

My original had a yoke that broke allowing it to provide a suitable spool holder, but the bearings are tightened so the spool just slides over the machine like the original bearingless design.

the only thing that is the same in this photo is the spool itself mounting screws and everything else was not there or was another item and the spool does not rotate freely, the bearings do not work well, if at all
