Now I know why they come in two packs. They are made very cheaply. Broke on first use. Snaps into the thickest part of the metal, just below the attachment point, just above the screw hole. I installed the second one and have to remember to treat it like a chick.

Purchased to replace the antenna on a C. Crane Skywave radio. The attachment point fits perfectly (the original has 2 thin paper discs, I was only able to attach one disc but I'm pretty sure it's my fault and not a design difference). This is longer than the original antenna on my Skywave radio (as well as my C. Crane "CCRadio 2E"), the first thickest segment is long enough that the antenna doesn't snap into the groove that holds it when folded (and the CCradio 2E seems to have a similar…
