great alternative to plastic bags

Received in time for Thanksgiving. When we ran out of plastic storage for leftovers, we had to use bags. You hold on. They're made of durable material, close well, and I can use them without the guilt of using a disposable, usually disposable, plastic bag. I've frozen some of the leftovers in these bags and they still hold up. I am very happy that I found an alternative to plastic bags.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • something different

Non-specific smell is my reason for buying

My last purchase, buying well-known plastic bags, first started with an odor. (The same happened with wipes that I bought and had to stop using.) There are other packs that I won't mention based on product knowledge that have an odor and I've stopped using them. I was desperate and can't remember how I found her. But I now use two other sizes of these biopacks and recently bought a supply of 800 packs. This is selflessness. Biobag sent me a sample of this bag and I was impressed.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Cannot replace plastic bags for sandwiches or snacks.

I really wish these would work. I am concerned about the increase in landfill, the impact on animals that mistakenly ingest plastic, and the use of fossil fuels in the manufacture of plastic. They cannot substitute plastic bags for snacks etc. They are quite fragile and don't hold moisture well. The presence of slightly damp vegetables, such as sliced cucumbers or peppers, causes sweating on the outside, as if condensation were present. So I will continue my search. Cloth-based reusable bags…

Pros
  • The best in my niche
Cons
  • will be added later
