Birkenstock Gizeh Disco Microfibre Boys' Shoes in Size 2.5 Review

Was looking for flip flops with support and came across these! They had great reviews so I decided to give it a try; plus Birks have an excellent reputation for comfort and durability. I took the advice of the reviews and ordered a size 9 as I usually wear an 8.5. They fit great! If I ordered 8 they would definitely be too small. I really doubt the authenticity of the shoes I received in the mail. Now I only have one pair of Birkenstocks that I bought directly from Nordstroms (Arizona Sports), but these shoes seem very cheap. The first thing I noticed was the scratchy inner sole. The fibers didn't settle at all and after a day of wear they were rough on the balls of my feet. So the jury can't tell if these shoes are real. These were my first purchases in Birka. I don't normally spend $90 on sandals, but I had an Amazon gift card so I bought it instead of going to an authorized retailer.
