Not a true KVM switch

I have 2 Mac Book Pros. Switching should be fairly easy, you'll need to purchase the correct supporting USBC cables first. This device does not support charging connected devices, so they still need power. The toggle is buggy, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I gave up after a week.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Not trendy

Almost 5, but not quite

I was expecting to find a pure USB-C (Thunderbolt-3) switch (2 USB-C in and 1 out) with no problems, but couldn't find one. I tried IOGEAR - Access Pro 2-Port USB-C KVM but it only showed port 1 (I got a replacement and it had the same issue so I just got a refund). The black box works well with one or two minor exceptions. I originally had a USB (2.0) keyboard plugged into the USB HID port on the back of the device (and my mouse was plugged into the keyboard). Mac could tell it was a keyboard,

Too many problems with KVM switches

I have a 16 inch MacBook Pro and a gaming PC with an Nvidia 2080 Ti graphics card. I was hoping to connect these two devices to my LG 38-inch ultra-wide monitor, Apple keyboard, and Logitech wireless mouse. However, I didn't encounter anything other than problems: • Sometimes the video freezes for 1 or 2 seconds. This does not happen when the monitor is connected directly to my PC. I tried different cables and very short cables. It didn't help. • Sometimes my Logitech wireless mouse freezes for

  • Long wait

I have an M1 Mac Mini and an HP ZBook x360 + Thunderbold Dock. I was hoping to share my monitor, gaming keyboard and mouse, but I don't have an image with KVM; I get the image with the USB-C cable going straight to the monitor. No computer will recognize that it is a Logitech gaming keyboard/mouse, so none of the settings or macros will work. It recognizes a shared keyboard and monitor. There's also no audio support (a big oversight). I'm not sure why this should be missing. Considering the…

One of the few USB-C 4K KVM switches available - works well

Have been using it for about a month with no problems. Tried two other KVM switches from reputable manufacturers with no success, the last one told me "You won't find a 4K USB-C KVM anywhere". This Black Box device worked flawlessly. Be sure to use high-quality USB-C cables, such as e.g.: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PLWQZY2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1.

Good product slightly overpriced

No problem when used with two Dell XPS 13 computers, a Logitech wireless mouse and an old GigaWare keyboard. However, the price seems a bit high for a product that performs such a simple function. However, if you want a reliable USB-C KVM switch, the box will do.
