My builder also installed a very heavy custom barn door but the insertion of a cheap and flimsy rail which he installed lasted about 2 months before the door it chewed . This item was perfect for my barn door slider. Much stronger than the nylon pieces that originally came with the door. The nylon originals couldn't absorb the energy of a 2-year-old and broke very easily. They repeatedly absorbed the energy of a two-year-old child without giving it a second thought. I highly recommend replacing your current gear with this, especially if you have younger family members, whether they have two or four legs.

Double barn door bracket includes a pair of tracks for placement on the floor. Why not two, I thought, because I had to operate two doors. The solution was two pairs of JUBEST aluminum door rails. They are perfectly finished and the fact that one side has a threaded flange and the other is perfectly flush makes them look cleaner. Double leaf doors only require 3 of these, so you end up with a spare. Good product that will last for years.
