Surprisingly soft leather, good heat protection when needed. I only wish they were small for women, the average is still about an inch longer than the fingers (I'm a 5'4" woman).

The best welding gloves I have ever bought. I work 56 hours a week and used these gloves from January 25th to April 18th until I replaced them because my finger burned too badly while welding. These gloves have lasted longer than any of my welding gloves.

Excellent! I wear gloves from this brand and this pair was for my 5 year old boy making his first bow. He didn't complain about comfort or warmth. I'm not a welder by trade, but I like to weld without my hands smelling like BBQ at the end of the day.

I've waited months to write this review and have now spent over a hundred hours welding it. These gloves offer the perfect balance of dexterity and protection from hot surfaces and sparks. They are comfortable to wear in the summer heat, last well and are great value for money.

My favorite gloves. As the saying goes, they really are "perfect for the eye". As I have short fingers I prefer going down a size as I know they will stretch to a perfect fit. The gloves are well made and can withstand moderate daily wear and tear. I speak in moderation because I don't work with them 8 hours a day. However, considering the price, they're readily available and are as good or better than any other pair I've used over the years.

For reference, these gloves were for my friend who is learning to weld with me but not small enough, middle finger is almost 3 1/2" and palm 4 1/2" wide. She needs at least 3 in the center and a 4 1/2" wide palm, just enough for me and my 3 3/4" wide palm. Please note that there is padding and my glove measurements are our outside measurements.At first I was jealous because they looked very cute.

Had changed my mind. Was 3 stars, now 4.5 stars. A disappointment compared to the Millers Blue and Mega MIgs gloves. I've been using it for a week now. Better than other crap for sale. BSX has made a good start for its model. The company needs modifications like double back and ankle protection from heat. Don't touch anything hot with your fingers or you'll regret it. This is another thing that needs changing. The cow hides her fingertips. I hope BSX is listening. Or an inventor.

Love these gloves! I work for a metal workers union so the welding I do gets quite hot and is done in an awkward position where I can't always keep my hands out of the heat. I've been using these welding gloves almost daily for a few months now and there are still no holes! I buy them small because the situation hasn't changed enough for companies to buy small women's gloves and I can't do anything but weld on the larger and sometimes extra large gloves that are provided by the company.
