Surefire Quality. - my new review

Have owning several Surefire flashlights this one fills a hole in my collection. I purchased this for EDC usage & have been carrying for around a month now in my left front jeans pocket ( right pocket dedicated to Benchmade knife). The quality is as expected need I say more. This is the first Surefire Maxvision I have ever owned so I was very excited to test it out. Results: I’m really impressed how smooth the food beam spills out, the color is white & the 400 lumens could fill a room, light up

Pros
  • Decent light for the size
Cons
  • The black coating may chip or scratch easily over time

Revain will ship you somebody else’s return / defect

Flashlight arrived in a card board box , no packaging, no literature, just the flashlight in a box. Light was , surprise !, defective. Would strobe at very low intensity (this light does not have a strobe function). Be aware, Revain will send you what they have laying around. And now, when you try to reach someone other than their stupid bot to discuss the issue - ha! Good luck with that.

Pros
  • very bright uses one battery and easy to conceal
Cons
  • The flashlight may be too bulky for users who prefer a more compact design

Great light, not great color accuracy

I really like the output and very wide even beam produced by this version of the flashlight.I have owned a few versions of the E1B over the years and in my opinion this is the best one yet.I am not thrilled with the color accuracy of the light, everything has a slightly green tint especially in low mode.

Pros
  • Nice little flashlight from SF
Cons
  • The flashlight may not have a low battery indicator

Very poor product! on my review.

This flashlight came with a battery but was dead on arrival. I replaced the battery and light works for two times then light doesn’t work! Replaced battery still dead. This was the second flashlight I ordered because of the same issue. Poor product !

Pros
  • Simple operation and looks sturdy and durable.
Cons
  • The MaxVision beam technology may not be helpful for users who prefer a more focused or narrow beam

Awesome--have 3 on my review.

Great little flash lights. Had one for 10 years, but lost it--no issues. Purchased 3 more recently. Worth the cost to me.

Pros
  • Flashlights
Cons
  • The black coating may attract fingerprints and smudges easily

My new EDC light good for me

I have several flashlights. This one is very bright for it's size. It's my new EDC now. Pocket clip is strong, yet not bulky. Can't go wrong with a Surefire!

Pros
  • It’s a great little flashlight, but way overpriced for what it is.
Cons
  • The price point may be too high for some customers

Not worth it to me in my review

Returned it after about 3 weeks carrying it. Form factor was good. I guess I’m not a Maxvision guy. Too floody and beam distance was poor. It will light up a room but not good for outdoors. CRI not bad but prefer the GX2Pro any day.

Pros
  • So far so good, works fine and is better Sure Fire flashlights Imalso have.
Cons
  • The flashlight may emit a buzzing sound when turned on

Simple, durable, bright.

Great flashlight, super durable, and super simple to use, unlike many fancy flights. Surivived my 20 hour night shooting course with no issues!

Pros
  • Pricey but worth the quality
Cons
  • Poor quality broke

Pocket Sized Floodlight

I always have a flashlight in my pocket during the evening for taking the dog out, etc. This Surefire E1B-MV is truly a pocket wonder. The beam spreads to all sides and lights up the entire area as far as I need to see. All this in a very small package thanks to the 123A lithium battery. The beam technology is remarkable, this is indeed a pocket powerhouse. A bit pricey, but I'm pleased enough that I bought two. You will need to buy the batteries in bulk from Revain, purchasing at your local…

Pros
  • Ive had 2 of these and they are awesome
Cons
  • The flashlight may not have a lockout feature to prevent accidental activation

Great everyday flashlight.

This is my first Surefire light. I took a chance on this light as it was an open box deal. Glad I did because it was in excellent condition and works as you would expect a Surefire light to. Flawless operation with equally good throw and flood. It's no wonder they call the beam pattern MaxVision. I also really like the two output levels. I use the low level most of the time for menial tasks. The high level is ready on the first click for serious use. I had good operation with the supplied…

Pros
  • My favorite light.
Cons
  • The beam may not be adjustable for different settings and distances

Great light eats batteries

I use this light daily at work. It is nice and compact and with the pocket clip I hardly notice it in my pocket. I was using a 6P, but was looking for something more compact and decided to give this one a try. The only drawback that I have found is that it goes through batteries fairly quickly. I am using Surefire rechargeable ones and tend to swap them out daily.Overall great light and I would recommend.

Pros
  • The flashlight comes with multiple accessories, including a clip, lanyard, and battery extension tube, allowing for easy customization based on your needs and preferences
Cons
  • The flashlight may not be compatible with some types of pressure switches or remote switches

Best Quality, Reliable

My Every Day Carry. Bought it for tactical and reading. Been wanting this for 2 years.I have had problems with other brands that are popular. Never ever had a problem with Surefire. Expensive. Well made in the USA.First click is always 400 lumens. That is a must for me to surprise an attacker, blind him and escape. Power outages and cyber attacks are predicted. I will use the very high quality 5 lumens for reading if we have an outage. The quality of light is far superior to the other brands…

Pros
  • A lot of light for such a small pocket-size flashlight and very tough construction.
Cons
  • The switch may be difficult to operate or prone to malfunction
