Should have looked at other reviews more closely as I have the same problem. The mounting holes in the bag are too far apart and don't line up with the two mounting holes on my Cannondale Topstone.

This is the perfect size for my fairly large phone (Note 20 Ultra) and some useful stuff like a Clif bar or some Clif blocks. It stays in place very well and is narrow enough not to get in the way. I liked it so much that I bought a second one for my road bike.

The bag is very well made! But the attachment straps are too short to get around my 2019 Domane+ e-bike top tube - the strap needs to be about 2" longer than the 2 included 8 1/2" straps - it comes with 2 shorter straps - the strap configuration allows for this not too for splicing two tapes to 1 desired length! That is the reason for the 3 stars! On a smaller top tube, this guarantees a 5 star rating!

The screw holes don't quite match the water bottle holes on my Kona Sutra ULTD. They look correct, but not enough distance to make any of the studs weird. Luckily my bag just popped out and flopped early in the trip and only the screw was damaged. If you're unlucky, the threads in your frame could get ruined by this bag. Looks ok if you only use straps.

The Blackburn Outpost Top Bag is a well-made product with quality zippers. Perfect for my Salsa Woodsmoke. The holes on the bottom of the bag align with the bottle cage mounts on the top tube. It has practical side pockets where you can store your keys or small items. I can slip my iPhone XR into the mesh pocket at the top of the bag, but I suspect I might rip the mesh if I continue like this. I plan on trying a different phone case to see if it fits a little better.

A lot of other reviews complain about the bolts not matching the bike frame mounts but I just got mine this week and they match the top tube mounts perfectly on my 2021 Trek checkpoint . They have a small divider to divide the inner compartment in two and there is enough space inside for my phone, wallet, keys and some snacks. There is also a mesh pocket at the top and two small pockets on the sides - one with a zip and the other with an elastic band.

Case works great. The mounting holes on the frame matched almost perfectly. I had to tighten it a bit to get the sod screws in, but it helps keep the bag firmly in place. The iPhone 11 Pro Max fits on its side. The back corner of the phone sticks out a bit over the edge, but the lid has some depth so it still closes properly. The only minor downsides are the water resistant zips which can feel heavy and difficult to open while riding and out of one pocket the zip pullers had a small hole which…
