Ordered 4 of them. All the grills were broken without being used. They sound great, but you need a factory space with a built-in grill. Install a little deep, measure carefully, spec says 3.25 but closer to 3.5.

Bought on sea voyage and fitted to my car when I got home and one was defective. Unfortunately the rear window was closed. So right now I'm making money with a working speaker. Pretty lazy about it, but one sounds decent. I would like to know how it sounded when both were working?

Complete bullshit. The sound quality is terrible. A loudspeaker is already wheezing. Too much of a hassle to disassemble and replace the rear panel again, so I put in one of the old OEM speakers. It is truly amazing that a speaker from a 20 year old 342,000 mile car could sound the same as these speakers. Blaupunkt should be ashamed to put its name on these pillars.

I don't have high fidelity hearing and I'm not very picky about music but these speakers sound very good, a huge improvement over my original speakers which were 26 years old . . I also only listen to the radio, so the sound quality depends on the radio signal. My only complaint is that the speaker wire that came with these speakers was incredibly small or flimsy. This wire was very difficult to work with because it was very thin.

I received this item today and one of the grilles was broken into four pieces - I don't know how hard it is to inspect the item before it comes out the door , but it's terrible. Luckily I don't need grills, but if I did they would be pushed back. It cannot be that they were damaged in transit. The physical box is perfect and the other speaker is great too. The packaging material does not show any visible damage. Otherwise the speakers sound great.

I replaced a pair of old Infinity speakers in my 1966 Mustang and the difference in sound was amazing. They don't have really deep bass, which I don't like anyway, but overall they sound very good. I could easily hear the strumming of the acoustic guitars in the music, even over the hum of the exhaust and the whooshing of the wind in the car. I would definitely take them again. They have a nice look and come with the necessary hardware for installation.

I put them in the back of the trunk and some Blaupunkt 6.5s in the door along with the new JVC head unit and they sound great once you have them Equalizer installed. Some claim they have fake tweeters and that's not true. Maybe who cares? They sound great for the price ($56 for all four). I'm sure for the price you can't do better. I listen to rock, country and christian rock, and sometimes quite loud. I would buy them again.

They are NOT 4-way. They are 2 way. The two smaller tweeters are FAKE. You can flip the speaker and see that there is only one larger tweeter. However, I knew there would be some uncertainty with the purchase. I connected to the amplifier 50Wx2 RMS. Everything sounds good on what most people call "loud". Bass is better than expected.
