Have wanted one of these rulers for a long time, the price was right. This will make embroidering much easier and cleaner. This is a dream come true for a quilt. Yes I love it and enjoy using it for perfect cuts and it keeps everything in place. thanks hope

After using the large version for a few years I bought this smaller one and love it. My larger size had a small trim edge because it's been used so much and they're expensive, so I went with the smaller one since most of my triangles are under 4 1/2 inches.

I've been thinking about buying one of these lines for a long time. I finally went with it and regret not having bought it sooner! I can't imagine making half square triangles without them. I have recommended it to a group of quilters I work with and I know they are very keen to get it themselves.

The quilt I'm working on is made up of 160 half-square triangles that need to be squared to 4-1/2 inches. This triangular ruler makes the process a lot easier (quicker!) and more accurate. This is how it works: A small groove is cut diagonally in the middle of the back of the ruler. After ironing the 1/2 square block with the seam aside, place the ruler over the block with the groove on the seam. This makes trimming half square triangles much easier. Trimming the HST with a regular ruler took twice as long because I had to worry about my ruler. slip. With this ruler it is fixed next to the seam and does not slip. Just a note, you must press sideways (not press to open) for this ruler to work.

This ruler can be used to make 4" half square triangles. square cut. This made a big difference to the quilt I was working on. I had great results and this 4" square was the base of all my other block pieces that I joined and matched!

My ruler arrived on time. This is a unique ruler whose central diagonal part is hollow. This hollow part allows the ruler to sit snugly on the seam of the half-square. Triangle and allows for easy alignment, both halves of the square line up perfectly. Other rulers I sometimes move around when aligning a block and end up with a slightly crooked corner. Not with this ruler - perfect angles every time I have many rulers but this is my new favorite.
