I needed ballet flats for an adult display case. What I didn't understand is that the elastic has to be sewn on after delivery.

This is my second purchase after mistakenly taking the comments section of my first Bloch ballet shoe seriously. I simply measured from toe to heel without rotating the ruler 90 degrees without twisting and ordered that size. Ordered the wide version even though my feet are not very wide. If you have very wide feet, consider going 0.5 or 1 size larger than this method I've outlined here.

I've worn them my whole career, to be honest I haven't found a more comfortable and beautiful silhouette on my foot. I recommend it to anyone who wants to make the most beautiful lines.

Stupid how happy I was when I got a pair of flats that were closer to my skin than theater pink. They look and feel great. I have odd shaped feet (wider than a typical toe and narrower than a typical heel) and they fit perfectly. I wear them around the house because what ex-dancers don't do random warm-ups while doing chores? such a nice foot shape I wasn't sure how I felt about a squarer toe but that's silly - it works.
