I love these flat shoes! They are very comfortable and true to size. My street shoe size is a size 6, I ordered them a size 4C and they fit great. They were needed for the show and arrived quickly.

I have bought these special dancing shoes three times already. I hope Bloch never stops making them. I like the split sole for the arch of the foot. Very comfortable and adjustable to your foot. Remember these are not your street sizes - order about 2 sizes down.

Good shoes and fit my daughter well. I just didn't like that I had to sew in the straps, like other shoes I've bought in the past I never had to. But other than that, they fit her well and are reasonably priced considering she's still outgrowing them so quickly.

This is my second pair. The footpad bed dangles under the toes of the right foot after only 2 months of wear. I'm an amateur dancer, so I don't wear flats every week. Other than that, I love the fit of this shoe and the way it shows the arch of the foot. I'll try a different model next time though.

Bought for my daughter who is taking ballet classes. Perfect for your needs. I wasn't sure on the website if it was American Shoes or Dance Size so I took both. DANCE SIZING was correct (she wears regular shoes 8.5, ballerinas 6.5 were correct. 8.5 will come back) Very happy with the price and quality of this purchase.

Worn for my first adult ballet lesson. They are a bit big but I hope they shrink a little after washing. They are very "cute" and make me feel like a ballerina. I was expecting the elastic to attach, but it was only attached to the back of the shoe. You will need to sew it to the front or bottom of the boot yourself (not sure if it needs to be sewn on, I did it on the front). All in all I would buy them again.

I had these shoes when I was studying modern dance and couldn't find them for years. Sizing can be tricky so be prepared to swap if necessary. If you use them for tango or hoop dancing, the fit will be different than ballet or jazz. But they feel great and make your legs so beautiful! I like that the elastic is only sewn on at the heel as I like to sew on the elastic myself. Hide them from your dancer friends if you don't want them stolen. :)

I have this and also the Prolite leather version. Thought I would use them for training and leather for performances. The color and shape of these canvas slippers are great. However, I can feel the front pad under my foot and it is very uncomfortable in Eleve. I don't know if it has to do with the ruffles/gathers under the toe pad, but it's not perfect. I didn't have this problem with leather pants. I wouldn't buy them again.

I'm researching which apartments to order for the day-oooo. And after reading countless reviews, I settled on these Bloch Flats. Three or more reviewers said they ordered the slippers 2 1/2 sizes smaller than their street shoe size and they fit well, so I did the same. These slippers literally just fit so there is NO extra space. And I never buy wide shoes, but besides bigger slippers (6 or 6 1/2) I wonder if I need wider slippers too.
