Outstanding Performance from Hydrogen Welding Electrode

Based on my observations, this electrode packs a punch with its stable arc and consistent performance. Welding plastic materials has never been smoother than with this tool. Its composition is perfect for welding and bonding plastic products together. However, it requires a bit of practice getting the right parameter settings, but once you get it, it's the perfect tool for the job.

Pros
  • Stable arc, Consistent performance
Cons
  • Slight learning curve for parameter settings

They stick more than other brands.

I'm surprised at how complex they are compared to any other 7018s I've used. They hold up better than any other rod I've used - maybe eight or nine marks total. Maybe I got a bad batch? Or maybe the very low price meant I got what I paid for?

Pros
  • Welders and Accessories
Cons
  • Compatibility

Shown was a rod case for stick electrodes

My 50 pound can of rods looked like they had been thrown from a truck going over a bridge at high speed. I opened the jar and hoped the flux stayed on the sticks! We ended up throwing about 35 pounds in the trash because there was no more flux on the rod.

Pros
  • Welding and soldering
Cons
  • Not everything fits
