Charity review.

Purchased to install Starlink. I've never used it, but it will come in handy when you need to run the wire through the roof through a waterproof sleeve.

Good clean cable installation

I used this to get the trolling motor transducer cable into the front deck of my boat. Its pleasing low profile made it a clean setup. It was exactly what I was looking for.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • There are bugs

Much better than a big hole filled with silicone

Used it to run a transducer cable through my boat's transom. Also made for a very clean look. Worked great. The only issue I had was the dull 1" drill bit. Maybe I should buy one of those next time.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • No power

Ultimate Cable Seal

Seals radar cables on boats and GPS cables on consoles. It performs very well and is resistant to the elements when properly installed. Blue Sea's technical support is a first class achievement: I buy their products every day knowing that they are backed by reliable customer service and a world-class engineering team.

Pros
  • Handy
Cons
  • Irregular

So far, so good. Seems to be a good waterproof connection

So far this has worked as expected, allowing me to run cables without getting wet. I am using this to run some wires to the solar panels. panels and I am very pleased with the ease of use and clean look of the installation. Much cleaner than seeing a silicone filled hole

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Expensive

Works at home too!

I used this to run coax cable from the outside of my house through the siding inside. I drilled a 1 inch hole. I was a little concerned that the screws would be too close to the hole and therefore be loose, but that turned out to be unfounded in the end. It works great. The advantage is that I don't have to cut off the connector and re-insert it!

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Minor issues

Great for Starlink through the wall

I think it's for a marine environment but also perfect for Starlink bowls through the wall. Couldn't find anything better, but it might be better if the setup allows for a split install instead of pulling the cable through. Not using it for offshore installation I split the gasket to make installation easier, but this is not a manufacturing defect.

Pros
  • Great fun
Cons
  • Great price

Exactly what I was looking for.

I bought 2 of these cables to run 2 sensor cables for a Lowrance HDS 10 Gen 2 across the stern of my boat. One cable is for Fishfinder/Fishfinder and the other is for side scan sonar. Very easy to install. I drilled a 1" hole for each wire (well above the waterline) because the Lowrance connectors needed to go through the transom. my boat Then I just screwed a white plastic "shell" into the tail and it covered the cable and the hole. The "clam" closes the hole, and at the bottom of the "clam"โ€ฆ
