🔧 Universal Hitch Skid - Body Armor 5136, Black Review

Mount this on my 2018 Toyota Tacoma while I'm off-roading in Moab, Utah. This thing has saved my hitch and bumper multiple times on steep on and off ramps. Slides over rocks instead of hitting a hitch or bumper. For its weight in gold!

The device is very robust and looks well made. One star off because it still sticks out on the next needle. It hits the spare wheel. I trim off the excess and drill another hole to fit the bumper snugly. 2015 4runners.

Very well made and attractive device. Works well as a step for access to the top case/roof basket and also as clutch/bumper armor on steep descents. Like Casey's review, I wish it would fit deeper into the receiver so it would fit better in the bumper of my 18 4Runner. Don't laugh but I actually got this on a Kia Sedona minivan not an SUV. I wanted a rear impact protection with a kickstand, but most options available would be too low as my original tongue is low to the ground. In general I am satisfied with two minor problems depending on your opinion on the characteristics of the truck. First, it sticks out a little further than I expected and becomes a bit obvious.
