Feel great wish they had heels

We used them snorkeling and they made the fins much more comfortable to wear. The purchase is definitely worth it. I wish they had heels. Although Revain does not list them, sizes are as follows: extra small (men 4-6 / women 5-7) small (men 6-7.5 / women 7-8.5) medium (men 7.5-9 / Women 8.5-10) Large (Men 9.5-11 / Women 10.5-12) Extra Large (Men 11.5-13 / Women 12.5-14)

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Quality

The number one thing you want in a fin sock is full protection for the parts of the foot that the fins rub against (in bodyboarding) and I'm happy to report that they provide the most Cover fins completely. There are no complaints about it. The heel is open, which is what you want when bodyboarding in tropical locations (so the toe doesn't fill up with water and create drag).

Pros
  • Inspires Confidence
Cons
  • Has Flaws

Excellent leg protection for diabetics

I know they're meant to be worn under fins (and I do) but as a diabetic I need to avoid burning my legs off the bottom of the pool. I have used other neoprene socks before but they fit and work much better. The disadvantage of all neoprene socks is that they wear out pretty quickly. I usually have to replace them within a few months due to worn out holes in the bottom of the sole. They're no worse than anything I've tried. I have size 12 shoes and I got the big one and they fit well.

Pros
  • Best in the niche
Cons
  • Hard to say

Bought for the wrong purpose but works great!

Originally bought to wear over a pair of socks for extra cold/rain/snow protection whilst wearing orthopedic boots for 7 weeks in the dead of winter due to a broken metatarsal. Of the 4 or 5 water socks I tried, these were the best for the task as it was impossible to put a foot in a full neoprene sock without ripping it, so this back strap style was perfect. The winter was relatively mild so I didn't need insulation, but I was grateful for the extra protection for a day or two when the rainโ€ฆ

Body Glove Flipper Slipper

I used "free" shipping from Revain. It took forever to arrive, although I didn't need it immediately. The slippers felt great the first time I put them "dry" on - thought I could use them "outside" the pool! I bought them to see if they would make the fins more comfortable (although I haven't had any real complaints with fins yet, I only bought based on other people's experiences with fins). After some time in the pool, however, I felt that the circulation in my legs was blocked. And I think Iโ€ฆ

No calloused toes when diving with these socks

Bought these for my husband after telling him I love mine as a comfortable layer between my legs and fins for snorkeling and rock hiking. When you pedal or accelerate while snorkeling, the sock will help prevent blisters on your toes. He loves them as the heel hole drains water and allows him to dive down (around 50 feet) instead of keeping him afloat like closed toe fins normally do. Wearing them snorkeling on a sandy beach will collect sand through the hole in the heel, but it's easy to dumpโ€ฆ

Pros
  • It's okay!
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Amazing toughness

I bought these to use with a scuba set I need for a course where I'm going to Costa Rica and Panama in a week. I checked the reviews and wondered if the missing heel would be a problem for me. Received them quickly and tried them on with fins out of the water. Everyone felt good. Then I tried them yesterday in the pool. Seriously, these things were so comfortable I was completely shocked. After 2 hours of swimming my feet were really warm (the only place I tend to get cold) and I had noโ€ฆ
