Description of Boeray Fitting Degree Barstock Street

Adapts 1/4" NPT male end to 1/4" tube size female end at a 90-degree angle. Brass for corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability. For use with LP and natural gas, refrigeration, and hydraulic applications. Meets specifications ASTM B584 and ASME/ANSI B16 for quality assurance. The operating temperatures for this fitting range from -53 to 121 degrees C (-65 to 250 degrees F).

Ideal for air compressor discharge line

I connected a braided flexible hose to the discharge of my air compressor and used one to connect to the compressor tank and the other to unscrew the end of the discharge hose. at the check valve. Wanted to make sure the hose doesn't squirt right out when I open the drain. I broke the original 90 degree fitting that came with the flexible hose. They proved very helpful and I tried not to hesitate too long.

I usually read 1-star reviews first. You have to be really subjective about the subject and the person. Some people are "Internet experts" and some people have "hands-on knowledge". There were reviews that the end of the thread was not narrowed. It's noticeably tapered and works as it should. This myth has been debunked. I used some teflon tape, it only took about 2 full wraps to seal it. Plugged in, tightened and it works great. No leaks. Beware of these "internet experts" who mislead you as…

Choose another product, they are very poorly made.

First, they are not NPT compliant. (National pipe thread, US standard). There is no taper, the diameter is the same throughout the length of the thread, which is why the fitting flows. Brass fittings are designed to deform and therefore create a tighter connection, which is absolutely essential if you don't want your home or business to explode when using it for flammable gases such as LPG or natural gas. does not cut well, I first noticed burrs (metal shavings) which I unfortunately removed…
