Best allen wrenches for the money 🇺🇸

Most of my mechanic friends only use this brand of allen wrenches. Now I understand why. These are precision tools made in the USA, not China. The Chinese just don't live as long as these. You round off the shoulders and remove the hex head screws at the end.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

I love this tool brand.

These tools are great, strong, love the matte finish and they haven't broken yet. I made the mistake of not purchasing a set of Balldriver L-keys. I remember Bondhus when I was a kid from a picture of a gorilla in a hobby shop where they had been for a long time. They are expensive but worth every penny, don't buy cheap you will regret it.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

PROTANIUM may sound like imaginary metal, but it works

I bought metric and dirty imperial together. I have used small and thin wrenches on 2mm, 2.5mm and 3mm and none of them have been damaged, they are still straight and grippy. Don't worry about those cheap Chinese tools you see floating around, you'll eventually return them and buy these sturdy American hex rods.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Weight

Great price on wrenches

I have a set of SAE/Metric and Torx T-wrenches, but sometimes all you need is a standard set of L-shaped hex wrenches, and because I'm going with my T-wrench set, I keep one Bought a set of L-shaped wrenches. This is actually the second set of L-wrenches I've bought. I have previously bought one for my son and although he has not used it much he has used it a couple of times but has been happy with it.

  • Price
Cons
  • Fits

Metal looks solid

Looks good. The buttons look the same processed. They weren't rusty or dripping with oil. I used one of the smallest wrenches to remove the thread locking screw. The key was bent but not broken. It didn't round or curve. So my limited use is fine. It's one of those tools that has some parts that probably won't be used. That's why I wish they had separated this kit for a lower price.

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • Will be added later

Bondhus Hex Wrench Review

Great value for a quality tool. These allen wrenches are well made and won't slip like budget allen wrenches. Rubber holders prevent keys from slipping out easily, making them less likely to get lost in the tool box. I love that you get both sets for a pretty low price. They don't have rounded tips like more expensive tools, but they're still very good for a tool set that never needs to be replaced. I definitely recommend this allen wrench set.

Pros
  • Easy Installation
Cons
  • Little Repairability

Very strong and gives much needed leverage

I bought these for bike repairs. This set has both metric and standard sizes. Bikes tend to use metric sizes, but sometimes I needed standard sizes. I like that they are so long because they put out a lot of torque. When something is stuck, a little effort can stimulate rather than shake. I'm glad I've kept them for over ten years. many edge angles, but fur. They're strong, there's almost an exhaustive range of sizes, and they're durable.

Pros
  • Best in class
Cons
  • Disappears

Quality tools are getting harder and harder to find, it's a godsend!

How do I remove the hex cap? I mean look at the form. Well, it's pretty easy to use a cheap tool in a cheap fastener, isn't it? Both are too soft and/or sloppy; Immediate problem. You can also use the wrong size or even a good allen wrench in a really cheap or already worn fastener. . Whenever possible, use one of the types of flat ends to loosen or tighten fasteners. Ballpoint screwdrivers are a good addition later for awkward placement of fasteners and/or quick pulling in and out. Bondhus…

Seems well made.: Allen wrench

So I've just bought my first bike in 20 years and the only way to adjust anything is to use an Allen wrench. I borrowed some from my brother but couldn't use them because they were so short and I felt like they would fold when I used them. I got them after reading some other reviews and I'm glad I did. They are very strong (heavy) and worked perfectly. A variety of sizes has already proven itself. The only thing I would advise caution is that they hang around in the suitcase for a bit after…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
