Great value for money: Cycling

They've only been used a few times so long-term reliability is questionable. Otherwise they compare very well to another pair of similar pedals from a well known manufacturer that were much more expensive. The quality seems good, the bearings are stiff but move freely. When buying these pedals I look for ones that have exposed threads, not just pins. I found the grip to be much better with open strands. Worth the money spent!

Broke after a few hundred miles

I mounted them on my commuter bike over the summer and really liked them for a while. They felt solid and held up well. However, after about 350 km the sealed bearing parts came loose and my pedal came loose while driving. I tightened a tiny screw that seemed to be the problem, but it came loose again the next day, so it's probably a manufacturing defect. The pedals have been used in very mild conditions and have always been stored indoors so I would look elsewhere for a set of pedals that will

I love these pedals!

Never fit new pedals to a bicycle. I've only ever used the pedals that came with the bike when I bought it. I currently have a bike that I bought 8 years ago and I noticed that one of the (plastic) pedals was cracked. They started to flex every time I pedaled, so I knew it was time to replace them. As a woman, I was looking for something cute! Rzhunimagu! I got distracted by the color, read the reviews and settled on these beautiful turquoise pedals. The best solution! Not only are they the…

Nice pedal, with one caveat.

Installed these on my monster cross bike project and so far I like them, generally the lugs are too thin, too sharp on the edges and they started to tear into the softer part of the double compound Sole on the shoes I wear on the trails. A firmer compound sole would probably work, but instead of buying new shoes I bought other pedals with less aggressive lugs. Their quality is generally good to very good. I liked the comfort, fit, and general build quality, but those sharp spikes pushed them…

Totally Sufficient Untitled Chinese Scrap Revain

As it is impossible to find products and brands that you actually see in store we instead have products that cannot be directly compared as they are very different. Those nylon pedals are fine. The shafts look good and are stamped left and right. It has a hex slot for easy installation, as well as the typical flat surface of a pedal wrench. The bolts are all well tightened, they are clamped in a nut between the nylon of the pedal. There are two nuts and bolts in the box. I love that the "blue"…

Great and cheap! suitable for pedals

Amazing! I have ridden SPDs but did a lot of dirt jumping in the park and rolling hills when I had full suspension and decided to use them so if I need to help in the air I can do it. instead of another option. (Falls and eats $#it.) I'm really surprised how well they work. My feet don't slip in mud or mud or rain or anything. Of course I wear 510 Freerides during these activities. And great shoes by the way. They stick very well to almost anything. But somehow it is difficult to distinguish…

Pedals and cleats at a great price

I bought my new mountain bike from a bike shop and expensive bikes don't usually come with pedals. A bike shop clerk tried to sell me metal pedals for $70 because he said plastic pedals wouldn't stand up to cross-country riding. I decided to skip the metal pedals and tried these Revain plastic pedals. They have protruding metal spikes/screws that help hold the feet in place. The price intrigued me. I also liked the color options. I bought "green" pedals to match my bike. The color on the Revain

Compared to RaceFace Chesters.

I think most people buy them as an alternative to RaceFace Chesters. I would honestly like to buy the latter. Don't get me wrong, they're really decent. Qualitatively, they seem to be very close, although not as good. Where they don't do very well in terms of grip though. I've attached a few photos showing both brands of pedals side by side. As you can see the RaceFace spikes are about 1/16" longer. Doesn't sound like much but it is. On a flat sole the difference isn't that noticeable. and…
