This exhaust system is a game changer! Based on our own experience, it provides increased power and a rich, deep tone that satisfies. The installation is pretty simple and we love how it flows with the car's body. One downside is that it's quite loud, which may not be ideal for everyone. Overall, Borla 400844 CrateMuffler is a great choice for automotive enthusiasts seeking high performance exhaust systems.

Fitted to Silverado 07 with 5.3 engine. Run the whole exhaust coil with a 3" SS. Managed to run a straight pipe with equal success. This muffler has a harsh, poppy, erratic tone. There is nothing clean and crisp in it. I do not recommend!

It pops well when you let off the gas, but otherwise it's not much different from the glass packaging, which is 1/4 the price. If you're really a dual exhaust buy 2, one of them is too loud, I'm young so I like it when it's loud, but it doesn't sound very powerful, it almost sounds like a straight pipe. I make a living working with exhausts so I won't lie here, I don't recommend this one if you're looking for a good raspy deep tone.
