🔬 Clear Borosilicate Glass Blowing Tubing: High-Quality & Durable Review

These glass tubes appear to be very strong and the thickest I have ever used. They blow easily with oil burners, even with a standard propane torch and fuel. I recommend this product to everyone.

I have tried different glass tubes on this site. There are better glass tubes with a diameter of 12 mm and a diameter of 8 mm. The 12 inch pieces were roughly cut. That means when they first hit the flames they split a good 1½ inches. From both ends. This is just an attempt to create a chamfer from their cuts on the tubes to get the same length. fur

Product looks good but seems to break easily. For some reason I didn't think the glass behaved like the borosilicate I've used in the past. I'm not sure if anything was added or left out when these tubes were made, but they just don't seem as strong as they should be. Pyrex is usually quite durable. Unfortunately, these are not. 20 years of glassblowing, you know how glass moves, cools, melts etc etc.
