Excellent product, ideal for cutting metal, protects against sparks. Easy to install, compatible with my gws 17-125 and I think it's compatible with all gws series.

Required Protective Equipment. I have never used an angle grinder and just got a Bosch 5"13 to do concrete driveway repairs. Bought after hours of watching angle grinder safety/accident videos on YouTube.

It works and keeps sparks off your face, but it's not that intuitive. It doesn't look like you really have a choice as it's a patented device that increases your security. It's difficult to change position quickly and it would be helpful if there were some guides to let me know which way to turn it when switching between pages that I'm holding without sparks.

I installed this guard on my Bosch angle grinder, model AG50-11VS, it works wonders to keep dirt off keep my hands away and away from my face. It adjusts to almost any angle you need and the adjustment is very easy, at least on my model, but I assume other Bosch grinders are similar.
