Great drill, best in power tool parts and accessories

Bought to install a ring headlight camera in the front of my house. The area above the garage is bricked up. With this bit I drilled through the masonry mortar between the bricks to route the electrical wire. I pre-drilled the hole with a 3/16" bit to make sure my channel is centered. This bit was slightly wider than the grout line, but the bit bit through both the grout and the sides of the brick.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Drilled 12 holes in paving concrete in no time

I had to put some reflectors on the front lawn of my house because people used to drive on them but the concrete is only 1-2 inches below the ground so I had to drill will. I took this attachment, activated the hammer on my Bosch cordless drill and plowed through that concrete like dry earth. Great piece and looks just as edgy when I'm done as it was when I started.

Pros
  • Dope ๐Ÿ”ฅ
Cons
  • Expensive

Thumbs up and suggestion

I bought a 5/8 Bosch masonry chisel to drill 2 and 1/4 inch long holes in a concrete floor slab [the holes are designed for installing 1/2" (OD) stick-in anchors. As a DIYer, my impact drill is only 5.4 amps and I was concerned that maybe a 5/8 bit would be too big for the drill. In fact, with the 5/8 it was -Bit excruciatingly slow compared to the 1/4" bit I tried next. Luckily I decided to experiment with the 1/4 hole as a pilot hole for the 5/8 bit and it made one big difference. The 5/8 bit

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
