Great pads for a good price.

Just installed these brake pads. They will be an upgrade of the semi-metal pads that were on it. Bosch is a solid name and makes quality products. They came with metal clips which I didn't use as they didn't fit as well as stock. (I cleaned the stem clamps) The stem clamps seem to be more durable. Brake lube was a nice perk.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Empty

Quiet, with good power and easily modulated feel.

I'm brave enough to work on my wife's car. These are the pads I used on the rear brakes on her 2011 Ford Flex. Above all, she wants quiet (mother of two noisy children), but I want reliability and performance. These pads were easy to install and met all the requirements for performance, brake feel and noise.

Pros
  • Durable test results
Cons
  • boring packaging

Maybe not so "quiet "?

Installing the brakes was easy. The product arrived quickly. The only complaint is that they are 'quiet' in the name, they are still very quiet. They make a lot of noise when braking. Only wore them for a few weeks. The front pads are from the factory, do not creak. Let's see if they get better. The vehicle seems to stop fairly well and is not soft to the touch yet.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Perfect fit for my car. 2018 Flex SEL

I read a review here (one star) that said a cleat needed grinding because its pads were sticking to the rotors. Look at his photos and you'll see he didn't line up the tab with the slot on the caliper so he's having trouble. Watch a few videos on how to install rear brake pads for your car model, check out a few different ones to make sure you have exactly what you need before you start. I installed them, they fit perfectly and are very quiet. I saved hundreds of dollars by doing it myself as…

Works like new just don't use the clips provided

I bought these for the rear brake on my Ford Explorer having bought the same series for the front brake. They work well, wear evenly and last well, no noise or rattle. The only criticism is the supplied clamps. The clips that came with the front pads looked exactly like the originals and fitted great. The clamps with these rear pads were smaller than the OEM. When trying to insert the pads, the clips kept popping out and not holding at all. I ended up just cleaning and reusing the originals as…

Processing required, cannot be installed immediately

Probably a good product but takes about 1/16 inch to install. The mount was filed clean before new hardware was installed, so it's not the issue. If you didn't have a grinding wheel, this would be difficult. I had to remove the material from the ends and one side to allow it to move in the mount. Edit: Up to 1 star. The seals stuck and welded the rotors, hopefully that was caught in time. Added 2 more pictures. There is a small protrusion on the pads, it is on all pads, there shouldn't be such…
