So bad I had to take it off

I have bought and used every brand of band saw but this one came out as the worst. Right after unpacking it was cloudy. On a piece of medium wood, the blade burned through and I was trying too hard to finish the cut. It also had a bad weld and was really coming apart, at one point the teeth pointed to the left and then to the right. Terrible, after a smoky cut I took it off. The "Powertec" brand blades that Revain has for the same price are much better, and the "Olson" brand blades for about…

Was too long good for blades

Blade wasn't 93.5 inches. It took over an hour and I knocked out the blade tensioning system on my bandsaw to finally determine this. I drove 45 minutes to Low as the one next to me didn't have 1/8" blades, only Bosch blades so I took another chance. This blade was the right length, but a bad weld caused it to wobble so much it couldn't be used. After those blades and another bad experience with a Bosch random orbit sander, I'm done with it. It's a shame, because I always found Bosch a little…

Mixed fit - good performance, terrible durability

I bought this blade a week ago and although initially I was impressed with the tight turns I was able to make with the blade and its fairly clean cut , I did find that the notch was a bit wider than I was expecting from a 1/8" blade. Much more concerning was when the blade broke on my 10th cut or so. Looking at the break point it seems to be where the two ends of the blade have fused together.I had recently switched between blades so I adjusted the blade tension, guides and bearings just two…

Pros
  • Length matches most common bandsaw sizes
Cons
  • No performance
