🔧 Bosch DSBE1006 DareDevil 6 Inch Extension: Boost Your Reach for Ultimate Precision Review

I bought this to add an extension to my drill for some of the holes I need to drill in my deck and about three pieces of wood need to be drilled for each hole. They do their job and the prices are reasonable.

I bought a 6" and also a 12" (just in case) but only used the 6" hex chuck which was trimmed down a bit. thicker than a few toothpicks and couldn't hold a drill bit in his head. The included small hex key broke when tightened and neither drill bit could stay in place with the tiny screw in the top socket of the head. Bosch is usually good but this was rubbish. Any Bosch manager has not bothered to do the necessary routine quality checks on this made in china product, I hope this doesn't happen…

I have a set of standard length (6") Bosch DareDevil spade bits and need them to drill a hole in wood posts about 6" in diameter . Corner of the room for new wiring, just a little deep for standard length. I got this extension despite some pretty negative reviews. It worked great. It held up despite the heavy drilling and I had to use a percussion tool instead of a drill to finish the hole.
