Versatile Carbide Spline

This industrial and scientific cutting tool is a must-have for any professional project that requires precision and durability. The carbide material ensures long-lasting use and the square design allows for versatile applications. The only downside is that it may be slightly pricier compared to other options on the market. But for the quality and effectiveness of this carbide spline, it's worth the investment.

Pros
  • Durable carbide material for long-lasting use
Cons
  • Requires a compatible Bosch spline tool to use

Works but awkward to hold on shank

We use this carbide head with a matching shank in the hammer to roughen the stone. This "sleeve" of the stone returns a more natural look to the cut surfaces. Unfortunately, this head cannot be fixed on the shaft and often falls off during operation. After severe hammering of many square feet of granite and other hard rock, 24 of the 25 teeth remained intact.

Pros
  • Special Bosch carbide - for durability in harsh environments
Cons
  • Requires socket

Good results in masonry bits

I used it to prepare about 100 square meters. Painted concrete feet. The concrete was very hard. The non-carbide drill bit I tried became very dull within 10-15 minutes. This one was fairly quick, although needle sharp and took an hour before losing its sharpness, but still sharper than the newer non-carbide model. When sharp, this attachment works faster than using a high-speed grinder (which I've tried). I used two of these for speed but I was only able to use one. If you don't already have…

Pros
  • Works with rammer shank HS1827 - for use in slotted/hex hammers
Cons
