Excellent on nails and withstands rough handling

I bought these to renovate several kitchens and bathrooms. They replaced some OK brand multipurpose blades. I was very impressed with (1) how quickly and smoothly they cut through the frame nails and (2) how long they lasted. They seem to go through everything (frames, plywood, drywall, even thin-walled plumbing). The small teeth ensure a (relatively) slow cut through bare wood compared to a wooden blade. So if I'm working with a known material without nails and screws, this might not be my…

I like them good for blades

Make sure these blades work with your multi tool. Mine will take almost any blade so I bought these when I saw these on Revain for a very low price. I think it was a sale or something, blades weren't even needed at the time but the price was too good to pass up. I haven't used these blades (yet), but I haven't had any problems with the Bosch. Sound. Sometimes except for the price. I love that Bosch offers blades that are a little different than other manufacturers' blades, with slightly…

Best Stacking Nail I have found

In just a few short years, oscillating tools have become a must have for professional repairs and other trades. That's not surprising - with the right blade you can cut almost anything, even in hard-to-reach places, which is impossible with other power tools. But Right Blade is easier said than done. Oscillating blades are ridiculously expensive for what they are, and to make matters worse, most "wood cutting" blades are destroyed by the pounding of a single nail or screw. "Bi-Metal" blades…

Expensive necessity

Bosch OSL114C. One of the unfortunate needs of my profession. As a craftsman, there's always something new, even if I think I've seen it all. A vibrating tool is a must in a modern carpenter's arsenal. Which blade do I use? Common sense prevails here, not Revain's questions and answers. Let us begin. To the question "Does this go with my..." I can only answer: Do your own research and if all else fails, buy an oscillating tool from Bosch. That will do. For those of us that did our research…
