🎧 Bose QuietComfort 35 Headphones Ear Cushion Kit - Enhancing Comfort with Black and White Options Review

This is not a Bose OEM product. I contacted Bose to verify the serial numbers and they confirmed the product is not genuine. They advised me to return the product because the price of the product is the same as the OEM product.

The blue on the left is the original and the black on the right is the supplied version. The original appears to be missing a notch that has a bit of glue on it. therefore, the replacement mesh cannot be attached to the earphones. The rest of the cushion fits under the ear cup.

If you just want to replace the ear pads then this is the perfect product but if you want to replace the mesh this one doesn't have as good a mesh as the original. I've attached photos of my headphones visible in the ear pad because the new mesh has a gap that doesn't fit well. So if your mesh is good and you just want to replace the ear pads then buy this one.

Summary: Definitely a genuine Bose product when ordered/shipped direct from Revain. Sealed with Bose tape and includes the Bose manual inside. I had trouble peeling off my 5 year old original ear pads. The newer devices definitely have improved performance (probably due to a better fit between the ears and the headphones). My QC35's original right ear cushion started to peel off at the bottom edge and soon fell apart completely. Links remained in "like new" condition. Why the difference? I do not know.
