I love this device. The highs aren't as crisp as I'd like (I'm more of a perfectionist than the average person), but the overall sound is great, and being vintage I like the convenience of the hinged lid for playing CDs. Got the white top-loading Bosa yesterday. I can't comment on the durability of the hardware, but I have 2 other Bose CD/Radios and they are well made compact music rigs.
