Does Bostitch test its products under real conditions?

This could be a great nailer, but there are two main problems: the air vent is at the bottom of the handle and faces the direction you are driving the nail, so every time you drive a nail, the gun shoots air. to labor service. When there is dust on the surface (which it often is), it gets in your face. Another problem is that the door that opens to clear the jam hardly opens, making it difficult to clear the jam. It could easily open 90 degrees if the shape of the door was designed a littleโ€ฆ

Reliable performance at a good price.

I bought this as a temporary replacement for a Makita nailer that was four times the price. Makita is older technology and I think I'll keep using it when it comes back from the shop. However, this worked well. It doesn't have a dry fire lock, which annoys me a little, but other than that it's an oil-free construction and with a bit of experience you can safely place the pen exactly where you want it. The depth adjustment mechanism feels a little light (plastic) but in use all the nails willโ€ฆ

Fantastic power, headless. Be sure to spend the extra $30!

Fantastic driving power and a really trouble free head. I bought a quality Makita from Revain and was terribly disappointed and sent it back. See reviews on this block. He couldn't drive a nail (a nail at a 45 degree angle) into bars longer than 3/4 inch, despite having to run the gun at maximum pressure and slightly higher (not good for gun life). In addition, the gun spoiled the softwood on almost every disc. I like Makita's other tools but I am sad that they are releasing such a poor quality

  • Easy to read control panel
