I don't know how to use my hands and this was very easy! The dealer wanted to take $300. I watched a video on how to install it and you really can do it with one hand.

I wish I knew these things were that easy to install. My 2007 Infiniti hood lift stopped working and I held out for several months. I bought them for about $25 and figured I'd try changing them myself instead of charging myself an inflated price at the auto shop. It couldn't be easier. I literally swapped them both out in about 2 minutes and now the hood works like new. Good product.

I waited a while to try these spacers before writing a review and they work like a charm. I got these racks for my 08 G35x to replace the original racks which finally broke after years of use and I have to say they work great. They lift the hood right out of my hands after lifting it halfway, which is pretty neat. Finally, closing is not that difficult, just a little effort and the hood should close well.

It was too easy to install. It took less than 1 minute per side and I did it with ONE HAND! All you need is a flathead screwdriver. Hold the cowl with one hand, use a screwdriver to slide the clips onto the old struts and remove them. Install new replacement posts. I've used a 2x2 piece of lumber to support the hood if needed for the past year because I've been putting off installing new braces.
