Easy to replace. The only problem I have is that I have to be careful not to get slapped in the face because it's fast. Also make sure it is fully closed.

My husband had one installed by a gas station mechanic. Then when he saw the mechanic installing it, my husband did the rest. He said it was a breeze! super easy!

I bought the tailgate posts for my Saturn Vue 04 and they snapped into place with no problem. If you cannot hold the overhead gate open, someone will need to hold the overhead gate while you complete the installation.

These were exceptional hatchback lifts, extremely easy installation, in my case I used 2 tools, a curved tip screwdriver and a curved tip nail tool, worked very well, old blocks were a bit difficult to remove but not too difficult, putting in new ones was easy. I'm very happy with it, should last the life of the car. Also, use the 6ft ladder under the hatch to do it yourself without help.

Installed on a 2006 Saturn Vue. Simple and easy to install. It only took a screwdriver to pry the metal tabs on the old posts and remove them. No tools were required for installation. Worried the door would be difficult to close based on other reviews. This was not the case. The door is not noticeably difficult to close, opens more easily and now stays open. They've had it for a few weeks and no problems so far. Let's see how long they last.

Easy install, take a small flathead screwdriver and pry off the old ones by snapping the metal tab on the old ones. It's just easier to rip the old tongue off completely so it doesn't close back up when you try to remove the old shock. The new shocks snap in, hit them hard and they snap. Stop fighting your old tailgate struts that work great in warm weather but not at all in cold weather. Spend money and be happy!
