I used this product on my grandson Toyota FJ Cruiser's bonnet, the old struts were worn and no longer holding the bonnet.

Super easy to install, life will update later, it's too early to tell but they look solid and well made, I hope the seals last. While putting 5 stars, I hope they don't fall from the sky.

I recently bought these for my 07 FJ Cruiser because Read Reviews they were value for money. They were incredibly easy to install and appear to be very well made. I hope they last as long as the originals. So far, so good.

Item looks good, installs in 5 minutes, works and opens the hood and holds up well, shipping took forever, order placed 18th February, received 7th March, package torn, luckily the rams were not damaged . If you're in a hurry, look elsewhere

I'm so glad I chose these. The hood is like new again. The hood lifts unaided and is higher than the older units I've replaced. Very easy to install with a flathead screwdriver. I could do it myself, but it would be a little easier or quicker with a buddy. The price definitely can't be beat. The build quality also seems to be very good. Happy with my purchase!

I don't know if the steering knuckles I removed from my FJ are original as I bought them used but the photo shows that the new ones are slightly different than the old ones. BUT. Comparing the travel of the old to the available travel of the new, they are fine (see second photo). If you open the hood to the maximum, you have no problem. Use a small flat head screwdriver to loosen the spring holding the strut to the ball joint and it comes off easily. I used WD-40 to clean the ball joints before
