Sizes were 1/4 inch and I couldn't get them to work for me. It is impossible to compress them even a little as they can withstand incredibly high pressure. I went to the old car lifts at the auto parts store and they could match the old ones exactly.

They fit my truck perfectly. Initially, I replaced the worn racks on the back of my truck with 40 pound racks from a local store. I paid $40 for them and they didn't quite lift the lid. So I got them and ordered these. They are strong and lift the lid all the way up. We recommend.

Maybe a bit harsh on my '94 Miata hood with both. I installed one and it works great along with the old one that failed. Having had one installed for 6 months I can definitely say they are too strong for this application as it starts to flex the hood to close it. Looking for about half the size of a stong. A good product.

I bought these after searching and researching jack legs for my 2003 Buick Century trunk. These were not accurate measurements. I had to lightly tweak the barrel with a hammer. But after that they fit. You can hold the trunk, but you have to help him lift the trunk until it opens fully. I'll end up leaving them there because they were an improvement over the old worn out elevators.

The seller delivered me very quickly these shelves, the physical dimensions of which corresponded exactly to the description. The only criticism is the rather weak struts. In the summer, they must be replaced with stronger ones. If you don't need strong racks, they fit perfectly. However, if your application is similar to mine and requires strong racks, this is probably not what you need.
