I found it I put it on the same direction as the photos my cat can wrestle it off his head. It i put it upside down with the stretchy part on top he can’t usually remove it. It’s hard to find a balance between tight enough to stay on and also making sure it’s still breathable/see through for my cat. He can stick his whole snout through the hole but can’t open it. I got the large for my 14 pound cat.

Well made and conceived but my cat(s) didn’t tolerate it for very long. In all fairness, I wouldn’t care to wear something like that, either.

My cat, normally picky, doesn't mind me putting this on her. She settles right down when it's on. She's not a big cat but I ordered the Large, anyway. They seem to run a little small because the Large fits her with a little room leftover.I bought it to bathe her because she stopped grooming herself due to a health issue. Surprisingly our holy terror of a cat did very well wearing this when we bathed her. We adopted her from the Humane Society so we had no idea what bath time was going to be like. All we knew is that she can actually slap really hard and has tried biting. We put this on and bathed her and she was fairly calm. She's getting better as time goes by and we work with her. She can still see through this and breathe ok.

I could have gotten a smaller size but the one the vet had was too small so I went with large. Worked fine as long as you have a snug fit. My cat is a biter when stressed so it did the job

I managed to place the muzzle on my cat. When I started to clip one of his front paws I was startled by a sharp pricking sensation on my hand. The tips of my cat's canines easily poked through the mesh of the muzzle.

None of my four cats let me put the muzzle on. Wanted it to keep the cats calmer for nail clipping, but it just agitated them instead.

I got this to use this when trimming my cat’s claws. This little beauty is saving me from having to scramble around the house protecting the new kittens as my OG cat bounds down the hallway at full speed after them. He never uses claws, just some teeth, so this gives him a nice little calming placebo effect. He’s a sneaky boy too, so I was happy that he can’t get this off when the elastic part is above and the nonelastic band is by his neck. Bonus: he now looks like a kangaroo. This is hilarious. My cat hates to have her nails clipped. She always would try to bite me and roll around to try and get away. I hated it as much as her. Now it takes me 5 minutes, I skip it on and clip away. So happy

It kept my kitty disoriented when I did his claws. I bought the bite proof sleeves too so now I’m good. Certainly makes him docile.

Was very easy to put on but my cat was able to remove it within a minute every time we tried. I tried putting it on multiple ways but she still was able to get it off easily.

The muzzle is made with a heavy mesh and attaches with velcro. I use it on an 8lb cat with a small head. I can get it snug on her head because of the vlecro, but it's big enough that it also fits my 14lb cat that has a lions mane.I'm currently living with a 12 year old cat that has never been trained to have her nails trimmed. This works great. It is very easy to put on and very comfortable for the cat. Made of a stretchy nylon net that makes it easy to breathe. Calms them down when the are getting their nails trimmed - with or without a grooming bag.
