I had to send the juicer back after only 3 uses because.

I had to return the juicer after only 3 uses because it started to overheat and shut off during juicing. I was barely squeezing 1 cup of juice when it fell out. The $45 juicer I used before could juice for over an hour and never shut off, while this $180 juicer couldn't even juice for 5-10 minutes.

Definitely not worth the money.

I've been using one of these for several years. Anything and everything is fine. But not nearly worth the money. For the price you would expect (and I did) that it would be able to produce a large amount of juice and last for many years. But that's not the case. Like any other juicer, it's designed for low juice production, and the more you use it, the more it gets stressed and falls apart. Mine lasted about 2 years before it started falling apart and now it's finally broken after about 5…

This stock is made of low quality plastic and durable as it is.

Product was delivered to my home on October 31, 2017. This unit looks solid, but after less than five pounds of orange squeezing, the driveshaft cracked. Not a small crack, but a long vertical crack. This stock is made from low quality plastic and no matter how solid the rest of the machine is, this small stock is a manufacturer oversight and a disappointment to the consumer. I called the US number listed on the back of the user manual but it was just a long delay. Eventually I'll stop keeping…

Cheap plastic parts, stainless steel for optics.

Connector "Fruit Dome" is thin plastic, wears out quickly and breaks easily. It can't be replaced on its own, which is why you have to buy the entire fruit dome as according to customer service, "Parts and accessories are not covered under warranty, you will need to purchase a replacement dome if you want a replacement." I've been using it for less than 5 Months since I received it at the end of last citrus season I really liked it while it worked, it's quiet, looks great and is much faster…

Citrus Juicer Frustration

TBH if I had known it was just a reliable piece of equipment I wouldn't have spent close to $200! I feel better with my 30.00 cuisinart juicer. This is seriously undermining my trust and loyalty to the Breville brand. We have several household appliances such as a Breville blender and toaster and this is where we obviously made a mistake by relying on quality and durability. The product description doesn't say it's a separate household item, especially if you have a large family.Preparing top…

Nice juicer but one detail is missing the quality I expect.

I like this car. Quickly extracts juice from citrus fruits. It catches the pulp in this strainer and you don't have to keep emptying the strainer as these two slats keep spinning and making sure the juice flows out even as the pulp builds up. Processes large quantities of citrus fruits quickly. My only complaint about it is that the part that squeezes the juice out of the fruit fits onto the plastic hex bar. This plastic bar isn't very strong and doesn't seem to hold up. In fact, the first one…

Breville 800CPXL Cast Stainless Steel Citrus Juicer - GREAT product

This is a great citrus juicer. I have had various electric juicers for over 30 years and this one is a real winner. Each month for many years, I have purchased crates of fresh Indian River citrus straight from the trees, which are shipped to me starting in November each year. at Al Family Farms in Fort Pierce, Florida. (By the way, Al's is a great company.) In spring, I juice ruby red grapefruit, navel oranges, temple oranges, unique oranges, and my favorite Valencian oranges. That's a lot of…

Breville vs. Cuisinart Breville is the clear winner!

I first bought a Cuisinart CCJ-500 Pulp Control citrus juicer which was the cheapest product with good reviews; However, after messing with this flimsy product, I couldn't take it and spent money on a Breville juicer. I think since Cuisinart I appreciate the Breville juicer even more. The Cuisinart has a thin plastic cone, mesh basket and drip tray. Juicing required good pressure. It was ok with the first half of the fruit, but when juicing multiple halves it became quite tedious. It took…

$200 machine leaking

Huge disappointment for a $200 machine that I expected to work right out of the box. My 15 year old Braun Citromatic juicer that I bought for $25 works better. For example, what if I squeeze juice from a large orange or grapefruit and a lot of juice comes out at the same time, does it flow down the sides of the spout? . And if I close the spout and try to squeeze out the juice and open the spout then half of the juice squirts out the side of the spout all over the counter (please watch the…
