FAILURE TO SUPPORT; IF THE CARATER BREAKS YOU WILL NEED TO BUY A NEW COFFEE MACHINE

ZERO STARS - BREVILLE CUSTOMER SERVICE DOESN'T EXIST. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. OUR CARAFE broke after 18 months of use. FOR OVER ONE MONTH WE HAVE BEEN ATTEMPTING TO CONTACT BREVILLE TO ORDER A REPLACEMENT. WE HAVE BEEN WAITING IN HOLD FOR MORE THAN AN HOUR WITHOUT PICK UP. Breville BDC400 with glass carafe Do not buy

After 2 weeks of use: Brews better than the Cuisinart we have had for several years. The water tank is separated from the grounds basket so that the ground coffee flakes do not float in the water. The shower head is far enough away from the ground coffee to prevent coffee grounds from splashing onto the shower head or getting caught in the holes. Better Mokamaster!

I was thinking of a Mokamaster but the design looks very retro. Almost like the average coffee machine from the 50's. However, Breville has always had a modern design and excellent customer service. I've made a few minor modifications to my espresso machine and it's always been easy. Not only does this coffee maker look very sharp on my counter, but it also makes a very hot, fruity batch of coffee. I didn't use the best beans, I used organic beer and it was very good. Excellent build quality and lots of features

I bought this jug because of the glass carafe which I prefer to the thermos. The build quality is excellent and there are many features. It comes with a gold colored basket filter and also has a cone adapter (#4) that snaps into the brew basket. The cone adapter did not come with a gold filter, so you must either purchase one or use a paper filter.
