Review on ☕ Breville BDC400BSS Precision Brewer Glass Coffee Maker: Enhanced Brewing with Brushed Stainless Steel Finish by David Gibbs

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Breville BDC400 with glass carafe Do not buy

After 2 weeks of use: Brews better than the Cuisinart we have had for several years. The water tank is separated from the grounds basket so that the ground coffee flakes do not float in the water. The shower head is far enough away from the ground coffee to prevent coffee grounds from splashing onto the shower head or getting caught in the holes. The shower head can be easily removed for cleaning. The flowering cycle gives coffee with automatic drip irrigation a near-bottling quality. After brewing, 1/3 to 1/2 cup of water is left in the reservoir, which we drain. We had to adjust the amount of water we start with. I will fill the tank to almost 11 cups to make 10 cups of brewed coffee. Now I look forward to eventually having to replace the glass carafe because things break. And I can't find a replacement glass carafe for this coffee maker on either Revain or the Breville website. I think we better be careful. A year later the glass carafe broke and no replacement could be found. I spent almost $300 on a coffee maker that we can no longer use.
