It was a stressful experience. I really wanted it to work but it was too difficult for my Lego skills. Maybe I was too ambitious when I chose this as my first lighted Lego build. This Lego set was overpriced and too expensive to take the model apart and put the lighting set in.

Looks amazing once installed. The instructions are relatively easy, it took me a few hours because I wanted to be thorough, and I experimented with a few ideas for hiding the wires in certain places. I just bought a Death Star so I can get a laser kit. It would be even better if there was a version for it that would glow like that. I definitely recommend it

REALLY COOL. This was my first light brick loot set I bought but now I browse and buy these for all my other big sets. That's sooo cool. I was concerned about what it would look like with the cables running through the building, but it's actually not that bad as part of it is behind the bricks and is otherwise just the right size, leaving no slack.

Great addition to this set. I thought it might be too bright but it looks just right. I should get an ecto-1 kit now! this is the first brick quarry set I've bought so the initial installation of the first string was a bit fiddly as the wires are thin enough to go between the bricks, but after a while you'll definitely get the hang of it . Very impressed, all the details match perfectly. The only minor thing was that one of the LEDs on the traffic light was glued too far out so I couldn't snap…
