Favorite Bridgestones!

Feels and feels average. Compared to the extra soft version I used to hit, they offered better distance while still giving me the cut control and spin speed with the iron and shavings that I was used to. I also really like the matte but bright color. This is my new favorite ball. Worth a try for any golfer looking for variety and a reasonable price for a quality golf ball.

Pros
  • Nice touch

E12; Sweet for Sports

First off I'm a 76 year old male and I play three times a week. My rate of turn is only about 75 miles per hour and my normal travel is only about 200 yards. Today I played a course with 6 holes par 5/4/3. My standard ball is MG Senior. I also play E6 Soft when it's windy. Today I tried Bridgestone E12 Soft. I love this ball. It's livelier than the E6 Soft. I hit straighter, higher and a little further and with a better green check (although the greens were a bit soft after the rain) than my MG

  • Best in Niche

Finally. A ball that delivers what the advertising promises.

I bought a dozen yellow Bridgestone e12 soft golf balls hoping the advert was honest. What I got was 16 more yards with my driver and an average of 9 yards more with my Cobra One irons compared to my replacement Titleist Tour Soft and ProV1! golf balls. Also, my driver's reduced spin resulted in balls hitting the fairway. No lost balls! The sound is slightly different from the Tour Softs and ProV1, but the hardware precision is much more consistent. I didn't experience any noticeable loss of…

Good distance but doesn't hold the green

This is a good ball for the price. I can reach more than 10 meters more with my rider than with my normal ball (Snell MTB Black) which is good given my very slow turn rate (max around 75). And stay straight. What I don't like is that it doesn't hold greens well. I have to play at the very front of the green so it doesn't roll off from behind while my current ball comes to rest very close to where it landed. I noticed that my game with this ball also suffered a bit. Unfortunately, my favorite…

Quality will tell when I see it

Ok love the Bridgestone E6, good quality, grips turf well, feels soft enough for my corner speed and is a good value. My buddy (not sure about this classification) tells me that I absolutely need E12. I will buy E12 Soft. Nice ball, nice touch but a bit more expensive than my E6. My buddy comes back and says you should have bought the E12 Contact. Of course I'll go and buy 2 dozen. That was my second number one mistake when I listened to my buddy. The bottom line is that you get 30% more…

As advertised. but

The e12 model promises long and precise shots. I've played a few e6's that I've found over the years and my only complaint has been that I couldn't practice my shots when I needed to; e6 went straight... as advertised. So I tried it yesterday with e12. Same results. E12 delivers what it promises. He creates long and direct shots but I couldn't handle the ball. I also found it "soft" and "soft" on the stick surface, which robbed me of the tactile feedback I need to learn with every shot so I can

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Mature model

Ball gets stuck in standard balls

These balls give me good driver and iron distance. They spin great and have above average stopping power for a crabby ball. I think these balls behave almost exactly like my regular Titleist Trufeel ball. The feel is soft but not overpowering. Stronger than Duo Soft or Supersoft. Like B-RXS. I find them perfect for my swing at 150 km/h. Slower swings don't have to worry about losing distance with a low compression ball driver because we won't get that far anyway. Except we're hitting the lower…
